What the technician found
The reported problem was no hot water. The technician’s work record identifies a faulty cylinder element. A loss of hot water does not automatically mean the whole cylinder needs replacing: the cause needs to be established first.

The technician drained the cylinder, installed a new 3kW heating element, then refilled it and purged air. The work record also confirms an incoming-power test and an element-current check of approximately 14 amps, followed by clean-up.
